The research on "Igen music and dance was intended to expose the assemblage and source of their instrument, the compositional technique and how the new members were recruited. It equally examined the type of preservative method that made the instrument to last up to 100 years. Participatory methodology was used to get information for example by oral questions, ohsewation and recording. The research materials used are camera rechargeable lantarn, cassette recorder and batteries. The implication of this research was that the tree (Oro - Uvie) was used for the construction "Igen the problems and the suggestions are at. the end of this project. he researcher hoped that the data collected and analysed and the result obtained shall be for academic studies.
